Associate – Business Development

ABOUT ORGANISATION

Dvara E-Registry (DER) is an Agri-Tech from Hyderabad working towards building a digital platform that would enable all stakeholders in the agri-value chain, especially smallholder farmers, access to structured financial products and agricultural markets.

Our digital solutions are for helping the FPOs to connect with farmers and digitally provide its services. The technology and analytics will give precise data points to FPO on its farmers to take actions. These actions include linking input and our markets, providing advisory services and Lending Services.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

  • Responsible for managing existing Business Development (sales and Business Development) and expansion of same in new localities.
  • Take complete ownership of the sales process, forecast sales for specific periods and generate the targeted numbers.
  • Responsible for loan origination, disbursement, and collections.
  • Lead a team of Farmer Associates in sourcing farmer loans.
  • Recruitment, Training and Mentoring of Farmer Associates.
  • To achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly business targets as per plan.
  • Coordinate with Credit / Operation / Collection team for disbursal of sanctioned loans and management of recovery.
  • Responsible for managing portfolio quality with zero delinquency and efficient collection practices.
  • Good salesperson, able to build relationship.
  • Adherence to Audit / Compliance as per company Standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educational Qualifications:
  • Any Graduation
  • Specialization in Agriculture/ Dairy
Experience:
  • Should have 3-5 years of sales experience in microfinance, agri loans and un- secured loans in NBFC, MFI or Banks.
  • Should have worked on ground to recover overdue accounts.
Competencies/Skills Required:
  • Willingness to work in a start-up environment.
  • Candidate with Sales (NBFC, Bank or MFI) background in BSFI / Education domain will be given preference.
  • Proven end to end sales skills – prospecting, pipeline management, closing and negotiation.
  • Must be competent to learn and adapt to changing technical environment.
  • Proven ability to meet targets.
  • Detail and process oriented.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and relationship development skills.
  • Should open to frequent travel within the state.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent in MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge on Dairy Loans.
